Edson Santos, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the University of Cape Verde's Faculty of Social Science, Humans, and Arts and the School of Business and Governance. He is also a Research Member at the Research Centre for Tourism, Sustainability and Well-being (CinTurs). With a Ph.D. in Tourism from the University of Algarve, his research focuses on tourism policy and management, destination development, resident perceptions, and sustainable tourism, particularly in small island contexts. A key strength is his robust background in data analysis, including proficiency in SPSS, IBM AMOS, and SmartPLS, which he leverages to derive meaningful, evidence-based insights from both quantitative and qualitative data.
